Slum education is being done by the NGO
In many countries around the world, the fight against illiteracy is now being fought tooth and nail trough slum education, which is being done by the government and the NGO. This is what the India NGO are trying to do since the responsibility to educate the young lies on all the communities. The mission of the NGO must be clearly defined. This is because of several reasons. The first reason is that the funding of the NGO will primarily be from the donations that it will receive. The donations will be what the organization will use to make the projects that it is undertaking get off the ground with a flying start. If the donations dry up then the doors of the NGO will have to remain closed.
The donating individual wants to know what the cause of the organization is all about. If the organization shows that it is willing and able to undertake a proper project that the donating individual supports, then the donations will come in faster than the organization can blink its eyes. The money that the NGO is receiving should be openly used and accounted for so that the donating individuals or companies can be sure of the good usage of the money that was donated. The donating parties want to know that the money that was donated is not being misused and is going towards the forward development of the NGO mission. This is the reason why the NGO needs to have the mission that it is involved in clearly defined.
